Concept:
Inspired by the layers of rock found in the earth’s crust, the design is brought to life with the stratification of slightly cantilevered floors that break away from the surrounding brick façade. The community is brought together on the roof of this project with a natural salt water pool and green roof that represents the first layer of greenery above the rocky layers below. This project sought to blend historic elements from iron railings and brick with modern innovative elements that help represent a neighborhood rich in culture and history that is bursting with new, modern endeavors.
