Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information solterra.com collects, how SolTerra Capital Inc ("SolTerra", "we") uses it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Other sites we link to, including SolTerra Solar (solar.solterra.com) and Cascada (cascada.me), have their own policies.
Information you give us
You can browse this site without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it through one of our forms:
- Contact and investor inquiry forms: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Updates sign-up: your email address and, if you provide it, your name.
When a contact or investor inquiry form is submitted, we also record the internet (IP) address it came from. This helps us identify spam and abuse.
How we use it
We use the information you send to reply to your inquiry, to send the updates you asked for, and to keep spam out of our inbox. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Form submissions are delivered to SolTerra by email and kept in our Microsoft 365 mailbox for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
- No advertising. This site does not show ads and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast pages load. These tools do not use cookies and report aggregate figures; they do not identify individual visitors or follow you to other websites.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Vercel BotID, which checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from automated programs.
- Videos. Videos on this site are hosted by YouTube and load only if you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once you play a video, YouTube may collect information under Google's privacy policy.
Because we do not track visitors across websites, the site behaves the same way whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
Service providers
We share information only with the companies that operate this site for us, and only so they can provide that service: Vercel (website hosting, analytics and spam protection) and Microsoft (email). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- To stop receiving updates, reply to any update email or write to info@solterra.com and we will remove you promptly.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@solterra.com.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you by email within 7 business days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date below.
