In brief: A 45-unit Passive House–designed building on Capitol Hill, Seattle, with automated sun shades, a rooftop garden and a 75-foot mural by FinDAC.

Solis is located in the heart of Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood. It is designed as a Passive House, which aims to achieve up to a 70% reduction in the energy used for the building's heating and cooling.

At the heart of Solis is a corner retail space with decorative steel surrounds that open and fully connect the street with café seating. The lush rooftop retreat features fantastic views, luxurious lounge options, outdoor cooking and a dog run. Throughout the project you will find other sun-inspired modern touches. Your daily journey takes you through the indoor/outdoor lobby adorned with Japanese maples and past an inspiring 75-foot-tall mural by artist FinDAC.
